Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good right away. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since my feet get sweaty. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already softened so your feet just adjust easily.
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them on sale is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
